Takara Tomy is continuing this year's celebration of the 40th Anniversary of Transformers with a surprise teaser trailer in partnership with Studio Trigger. Founded in 2011, their recent Cyberpunk: Edgerunners series gained much acclaim among critics and fans. The short teaser gives us hints as to what to expect in...whatever they have in store. There are quick glimpses of Optimus Prime from Animated, Sparkplug from Armada, G1 Rodimus Prime, Vector Prime and G1 Optimus Prime fighting Megatron. This suggests this will be an anthology series of some sort featuring different eras of Transformers history which would be appropriate for a 40th Anniversary celebration. Check out the teaser below:
