According to Variety, Lionsgate and Hasbro have finalized a deal to sell eOne for a reported $375 million. This deal will add 6,500 film and TV shows to Lionsgate's collection including ABC's "The Rookie", "The Woman King" and "Yellowjackets". Hasbro's acquisition of eOne was fairly recent, having occurred in 2019 at a cost of $3.8 billion dollars. Rights for entertainment brands such as "Transformers", "Peppa Pig", "Dungeons & Dragons", "Power Rangers" and "Magic: The Gathering" are not included as part of this deal. This move follows Hasbro's recent layoffs of over 900 employees, representing another step in the company's current restructuring.
