Sad news from the entertainment industry. According to TMZ, actor Peter Spellos has passed away at the age of 69 after a battle with pancreatic cancer. Spellos was best known to Transformers fans as the voice of the Predacon Sky-Byte in the Robots in Disguise series. Spellos also worked on shows such as BattleTech: The Animated Series, Digimon: Digital Monsters, Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex and Trigun. His live action roles include appearances on ER, Married...with Children and Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman. Spellos was also a much beloved guest at various Transformers conventions including an appearance at Botcon 2002.
