In celebration of the 40th anniversary of Transformers, a special event will be held in movie theaters on May 15, 18 & 19 2024!  Tickets will be going on sale April 10.  Today the official site for this event launched with the following synopsis and one sheet:

Thanks to fellow fan Peter Chavez IV I was alerted to the existence of an entertainment and shopping experience known as Hasbro City via the Funworld magazine by the IAAPA web site!  This facility is located in Mexico's Paseo Interlomas shopping mall.  It features a "shoppertainment" experience.  The article on the IAAPA site describes the venue this way:

According to Variety, Lionsgate and Hasbro have finalized a deal to sell eOne for a reported $375 million.  This deal will add 6,500 film and TV shows to Lionsgate's collection including ABC's "The Rookie", "The Woman King" and "Yellowjackets".  Ha

With Transformers going into its 40th Anniversary, it is no surprise that the brand will appear in in pop culture media.  There have been many sightings of the Transformers brand over the years in other media and with today's debut of Jack Reacher Season 2 we have another.  In the debut episode of the show's second season the character Neagley (Maria Sten) opens up a laptop and as she looks at it, we get a view of the back showing several Transformers stickers!  An Autobot symbol, Skywarp and Soundwave all appear alongside other retro stickers such as Vol

Sad news from the world of voice actors.  According to a post on Facebook by fellow fan Candice Santora, Beast Wars Transformers voice actor Pauline Newstone has passed away (though her exact date of death is unknown at this time).  Santora is well known among the Vancouver voice actor community so I trust her word. 

Sad news from the entertainment industry.  According to TMZ, actor Peter Spellos has passed away at the age of 69 after a battle with pancreatic cancer.  Spellos was best known to Transformers fans as the voice of the Predacon Sky-Byte in the Robots in Disguise series.  Spellos also worked on shows such as BattleTech: The Animated Series, Digimon: Digital Monsters, Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex and Trigun.  His live action roles include appea

Yesterday Netflix debuted its newest action series Fubar.  The series stars action star Arnold Schwarzenegger as a CIA operative who is about to retire but then gets pulled into a new mission.  During the third episode titled "Honeyplot" two characters go into an apartment with lots of pop culture collectibles including several Transformers toys!  I've taken screenshots below and labeled them by numbers.  Here's what I've spotted (see if you can spot more!):
