Takara Tomy, JAXA (Japanese Aerospace Exploration Agency) and Toyota have joined together to announce a unique collaboration: the creation of a Lunar Cruiser Optimus Prime action figure!   This item is currently set up as a crowd funded initiative.  If successful it will presumably be sold at retail in Japan.  No word yet on a release outside Japan.  For now, check out the promo video, information and images from the Camp Fire site below (translations provided by

The field of mobile Transformers games is widening with the release of Transformers: Tactical Arena!  Today the game launches as a free-to-play game today, exclusively on the App Store for iPhone, iPad, and Mac.  First check out the launch trailer below, then see the official press release and images from the game!

As a follow up to the Rise of the Beasts Voyager Class Optimus Primal and Optimus Prime releases, Rhinox has joined the wave!  This figure appears to be a retool and redeco of Kingdom Rhinox.  This is separate from the upcoming Voyager Class Studio Series Rhinox which will more accurately depict the character as he appears in the film.

In a surprise reveal, Gizmodo has posted an article announcing the newest Collaborative set!  Once again, Transformers and Jurassic Park cross over featuring an Autobot versus a Decepticon in forms inspired by the classic film.  According to Gizmodo:

Thanks to Daim Choc Reports we have stock images of the upcoming Masterpiece-G Trainbot Kaen to check out!  This is the figure that completes the set of Trainbots so we also get a look at their combined form: Raiden!  Takara Tomy Mall has not yet put up their official listing but this post will be updated with info once it becomes available.

Thanks to Daim Choc Reports on Facebook we have some fun eye candy this morning: stock images of Masterpiece Hoist!  Takara Tomy Mall has not yet put up its official listing but for now we can see how cartoon accurate this figure is.  He even includes the "Hoist Goes Hollywood" alien mask!  More info to be posted as it becomes available.

The debut of Transformers: Rise of the Beasts is about one week away in the United States.  As part of the celebration of the film's release, Hasbro has sent Ben's World of Transformers a wonderful promotional mailer filled with Rise of the Beasts merchandise!  The box itself looks like some type of Cybertronian supply drop, featuring metallic looking graphics.  Details like "vents" and hinges suggest that there is something contained within (perhaps beastly beings?!).  Graphics also include wear and tear along with  leaves and vines, looking like this Cybertronia
