Flame Toys has posted a preview of its upcoming Hound model kit to its Facebook page. While there are some G1 influences with this figure, the preview image shows it has been heavily stylized with exaggerated proportions and large weapons (which Hound is not exactly known for). Here is what Flame Toys had to say about this piece on Facebook:
Hasbro Pulse has posted an update for Victory Saber backers! This time out the focus is on the box art progress for the set. The update reveals that Transformers artist extraordinaire, Guido Guidi has been commissioned to create this artwork. It will also incorporate the classic grid lines from the cartoon's opening credits making for a modern take on the characters with retro elements.

Rattrap is a great example of how a good character on a television show can make people want a toy very badly. After his breakout appearance on the Beast Wars Transformers television show, this became one heavily sought after toy.

Silverbolt was one of the first Maximal deluxe Fuzor releases. He is also arguably one of the most impressive Fuzors released in 1998. His organic side is a combination of a wolf and eagle, making for a very interesting "mythic" looking beast form. If you are going to only buy one Fuzor, this is arguably the one to get.

Scarem is one of the initial line of Transmetal II basic assortment toys. Although small in size, this toy manages to be lots of fun. Like his predecessors such as Insecticon and Spittor, Scarem has a very creepy look and interesting features.

Retrax is one of the deluxe releases of the 1997 Beast Wars Transformers line. This figure relies on a gimmick that more or less works, and has become a subject of much debate amongst Transformers fans. This is purely my opinion of this toy, everyone is free to have their own.

Ramulus is one of the first Transmetals II additions to the Maximal ranks. This is also one of the few Transmetals II toys that was created with a beast form different than that of any previously released Beast Wars Transformers toy: A ram. This and good design work make it a nice toy to have.
