Toy News: Official Images of "Studio Series" Rise of the Beasts Cheetor - UPDATED

Amazon Australia has once again accidentally released an early look at a Rise of the Beasts action figure.  Overnight they put up (then took down) a listing for Voyager Class Rise of the Beasts Cheetor.  It is possible the figure could be revealed soon by Hasbro the same way Airazor was.  For now, enjoy the pics taken from Amazon Australia in the gallery below!

Toys: New Transformers Toys at Toys 'R' Us at the Glorietta Mall in the Philippines

It may seem odd to post a news byte about photos from a mall in the Philippines, but let's be real, in the United States (and some other places) toy collectors have largely had their collecting activities relegated to online sources or toy sections of stores like Target or Walmart.  The days of going to Toys 'R' Us (in its previous incarnation) and seeing dozens (if not hundreds) of Transformers toys on pegs and shelves is over and not coming back any time soon.

Toy News: Official "Vintage Beast Wars" Iguanus Pics & Info

Hasbro Pulse has posted a listing for the Vintage Beast Wars release of Iguanus!  Like previous Vintage Beast Wars releases, this is a reissue (or "re-creation" as the description states) of the original figure from 1996 featuring a spring loaded transformation.  The figure is in stock at Pulse now and will run you $24.99 USD.  Check out the official information and pics of the figure below:

Toy News: Possible First Look at "Rise of the Beasts" Cheetor & Wheeljack Figures

2023 is here and this summer Transformers fans will finally get to see the next live action Transformers film: "Rise of the Beasts"!  Among the characters in this film are Cheetor and Wheeljack.  Now thanks to Vice Grip X on Twitter we may have our first look at Deluxe Class figures of Cheetor and Wheeljack!  These have not been officially revealed yet, so of course take this news with a grain of salt.  For now, check out the images mirrored (with permission) from Twitter in the gallery below.

Toy News: "Authentics" Optimus Primal Revealed

Thanks to the folks at CL Hobby on Facebook we have our first look at what appears to be an Authentics Bravo Class (which they call "Core") Optimus Primal! With little to no publicity given to the sub-line, Authentics has offered a few surprises over the last couple years including a Bravo assortment Arcee and Alpha assortment Wheeljack. This piece was found in Asia so no telling when it will hit North America.
