Over the past few months Hasbro Pulse has been carrying limited quantities of store exclusives such as Walmart's Netflix figures. Their most recent "shared" exclusive is Walgreens exclusive Red Alert! There was no previous official announcement for this figure but leaks have indicated this would be coming for months now.
Hasbro Pulse held a Fan First Friday event today. During this live stream, three new Studio Series 1986 figures were revealed: Perceptor, Starscream and Sweep! Perceptor is an all new figure while Starscream is a redeco of the Earthrise Starscream figure with "Coronation" gear including a cape and throne (bumping him up to Leader Class). Sweep is of course, a redeco of Scourge. You can watch the stream and check out official product descriptions and images below. After seeing reports of the Buzzworthy Bumblebee Worlds Collide 4-Pack being found at retail yesterday, I headed out to my two local Targets this morning (Menlo Park, NJ and Linden, NJ) to see if I would have any luck. While I did not find the 4-Pack, I did find "Origins Bumblebee" and the two sets of the Robots in Disguise Crash Combiner redecos featuring Bumblebee, Grimlock and Optimus Prime! The Buzzworthy Bumblebee line continues to surprise fans. A few weeks ago In Demand Toys revealed Buzzworthy Bumblebee "Origin Bumblebee", representing the character as he appeared on Cybertron in G1 complete with his "flying saucer" style vehicle form.
