Rise of the Beasts

Thanks to the folks at Deadline we have several more casting reveals for Rise of the Beasts. Here's a rundown with some impressive names in the line up!

The day many Transformers fans have been waiting for is finally here!  After much delay, Paramount Pictures has finally released the first trailer for Rise of the Beasts!  Check out all the Autobot/Maximal/Terrorcon filled goodness in the embed below:

It's been quite some time since we've had any significant updates about the upcoming live action Transformers film Rise of the Beasts.  Now thanks to a video by director Steven Caple Jr. we have two casting reveals!  In the video we see actors Pete Davidson and Michelle Yeoh as Mirage and Airazor!  Check out the video in the embed below:

A listing on Toys 'R' Us Hong Kong has gone up for the first (semi-officially revealed) Buzzworthy Bumblebee set under the Rise of the Beasts banner.  The two pack features two repacks of figures from the Bumblebee movie toy line, specifically the simplified figures featuring "Igniter" cores that would activate an action feature.  The set is priced at

The Russian retail site Wildberries has posted a listing for a Rise of the Beasts notebook featuring an image of Optimus Prime on the front and what looks like ancient carvings of animals on the back. The Optimus Prime is essentially a version of the Optimus Prime we saw in the Bumblebee movie, which makes sense since this is a sequel to that film. More interesting is the "carving" which features several animals that represent classic Beast Wars characters.

With the delay of Rise of the Beasts into 2023, news has been a bit quiet on the movie front lately. Today however, Paramount+ announced via Twitter the plans for the upcoming theatrical films.

Rise of the Beasts will be released in 2023 and serves as the first film of a new trilogy. Meanwhile, a CG animated film will be released in theaters in 2024. Check out the Tweet embedded below.
