The retro themed Transformers ReAction figures line continues to expand with the announcement of four figures based on the 1986 animated theatrical film! The four figures revealed are King Starscream, Galvatron, Hot Rod and "Fallen Leader" Optimus Prime. These are not yet up for pre-order. The Facebook post (embedded below) indicates these will be available later this month to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the film. The packaging even features the colorful "Transformers: The Movie" logo! For now we have some nice preview pics to admire in all their retro goodness!
August 8, 2021 represents the 35th Anniversary of The Transformers: The Movie feature film debuting in theaters. Aside from making me feel tremendously ancient, this anniversary also has me in a reflective mood and I thought I would take a walk down memory lane.
The folks at Super 7 have posted pre-order listings for the second wave of ULTIMATES! Transformers figures! This wave includes quite the mix showing much love for the G1 era. Featuring Bludgeon, Grimlock (dino mode), Megatron and Tracks, these figures have a ton of amazing accessories and pay homage to both the G1 animated series and comic books! Celebrate 35 Years of TRANSFORMERS on the Big Screen When THE TRANSFORMERS: THE MOVIE

Takara Tomy Mall has posted its listing for the upcoming Masterpiece Nightbird Shadow! Nightbird Shadow is a redeco and retool of the Masterpiece Arcee figure based on the character who was first introduced in the G1 episode "Enter the Nightbird" (aka "The Shadow of Nightbird" in Japan).
Walmart and Hasbro Pulse have posted pre-orders for the R.E.D. [Robot Enhanced Design] Optimus Primal and Reformatting Megatron figures! Optimus Primal is based on his appearance in the 90's Beast Wars cartoon while Megatron calls back to the fateful scene where Unicron begins changing Megatron into Galvatron. Flame Toys has updated their Facebook page revealing two upcoming Furai Model kits: Bludgeon and Banzai-Tron! These highly stylized versions of the G1 characters look fantastic so far and it will be most exciting to see prototype and final production photos down the line!

Yesterday it was revealed that Hasbro would be releasing Generations Selects Leader Class Galvatron in G1 toy inspired colors. This is also inspired by the "Galvatron II" character seen in the Marvel UK comic books in the 80's.
