"Transformers: The Movie" (1986) Promotional Pamphlet & Order Form

In 1986, the first theatrical Transformers movie was released.  Leading up to it there were different types of promotions including a pamphlet/order form that you could get through the mail by sending in an order form, a ticket stub from the film and $1 USD.  Of course, Hasbro wanted to promote the toys too, so the order form also allowed you to mail order special "Movie Editions" of Optimus Prime and Megatron, the S.T.A.R.S.

Interview: BWTF interviews Paul Eiding (Part One)

Paul Eiding is best known to "Transformers" fans as the voice of Autobot scientist Perceptor but his filmography stretches across five decades including shows like "Fantastic Max", "The Pirates of Darkwater", "Trapper John, M.D." and "Ben 10". Gamers will know him as Colonel Campbell in "Metal Gear" or the Vault-Tec Rep in "Fallout 4".

This is the first part of an interview that went much longer than we originally anticipated so it has been broken into two parts. I thank Paul for being so generous with his time and his deep enthusiasm during this conversation. Enjoy!

 

TV Shows: The Sunbow Marvel Archive Updates with a huge number of new "G1" scripts

The Sunbow Marvel Archive is a fantastic fan run site "Dedicated to the preservation and showcase of scripts, storyboards and other production material from Sunbow Productions, Marvel Productions and their co-production partners.". Toy News: SDCC 2022 Exclusive Funko Pop! Unicron Revealed

San Diego Comic-Con 2022 is being held this year starting July 21st so reveals have begun for the popular event.  Today's reveal is by Funko: a Jumbo Sized Unicron!  Revealed via Instagram, this figure shows off the planet eating Transformer in all his G1-inspired glory!  No word yet on how to get one's hands on the figure but for now you can admire the pic below:
