A few weeks ago, Hasbro revealed that they would be expanding their Walmart Exclusive Vintage G1 offerings with something (relatively) new. It has been about five months since disaster struck Ben's World of Transformers. As you have been seeing on my social media channels, around May/June of this year BWTF suffered a major hardware failure. This past week Hasbro Pulse surprised Transformers fans when they revealed reissues of the special edition "Golden Lagoon" Transformers figures. These were based on the Generation One episode of the same name. Taking an eclectic assortment of figures, Takara Tomy had given them all gold decos featuring a mixture of gold parts and vacuum metallized gold. These were a rather limited set of figures and most fans just moved on after their initial release.
