The folks at ThreeZero have revealed a new addition to their high end collectible action figure line. This time out the figure is a reimagining of Bumblebee! The non-transforming figure appears well articulated and detailed, featuring some elements of his classic Volkswagon alt-mode with G1 cartoon influences. In some ways this figure looks like a more "mature" version of the Autobot who has seen some serious battle in his time! Check out the preview image below. BWTF will post more news as it becomes available.

Bah-weep-graaaaagnah wheep nini bong!

Thanks to a heads up by a post on the Ozformers Facebook page, we now have official product images and descriptions for the Buzzworthy Bumblebee Crash Combiners. These images and product info come from K-Mart Australia. Interestingly enough, in the United States Target has yet to list these items even though they are available in stores now.
The retro themed Transformers ReAction figures line continues to expand with the announcement of four figures based on the 1986 animated theatrical film! The four figures revealed are King Starscream, Galvatron, Hot Rod and "Fallen Leader" Optimus Prime. These are not yet up for pre-order. The Facebook post (embedded below) indicates these will be available later this month to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the film. The packaging even features the colorful "Transformers: The Movie" logo! For now we have some nice preview pics to admire in all their retro goodness!
The Buzzworthy Bumblebee line marches on with the posting of yet another 4-Pack of figures on Target.com! This time out it appears to be a repackaging of four previously released Cyberverse Warrior Class figures: Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Megatron and Starscream. This four pack is currently available for order and is priced at $52.99 (which is about right given that these figures are generally somewhere between $13-15 USD individually).
Sad news came over the weekend from several news outlets including Deadline. Actress Markie Post passed away on August 7, 2021 at the age of 70 after a three year battle with cancer. Post's acting career began in the late 70's and continued into the 80's with appearances in classic shows including CHiPs, The Incredible Hulk, Buck Rogers in the 25th Century, and The Fall Guy.
August 8, 2021 represents the 35th Anniversary of The Transformers: The Movie feature film debuting in theaters. Aside from making me feel tremendously ancient, this anniversary also has me in a reflective mood and I thought I would take a walk down memory lane.
