Sad news from the world of voice acting. Arlene Thornton & Associates has announced via Instagram that Generation One voice actor Jack Angel has passed away at the age of 90. Long time Transformers fans heard Angel's voice in G1 as characters including Ramjet, Smokescreen, Omega Supreme, Astrotrain and Ultra Magnus. His career goes back to the 70s on shows such as Challenge of th eSuper Friends and Scooby Doo and Scrappy-Doo.

Hasbro Pulse has sent Ben's World of Transformers a sample of the upcoming Covert Agent Ravage.  This set was originally intended as an SDCC exclusive but will now be a Pulse Con 2021 exclusive.  Check out my review and gallery of this fun set that pays homage to Beast Wars Transformers. 

As a follow up to last year's Hasbro Pulse virtual event, Pulsecon returns October 22nd and 23rd! This two day virtual event will cover Hasbro's major product lines including Power Rangers, Star Wars, Ghostbusters, NERF and of course, Transformers! The description of the Transformers panel has been posted on Hasbro Pulse and indicates that the next Generations line will be revealed! Check out the description below:

Back in April, Hasbro revealed the amazing Robosen Optimus Prime.  This electronic, auto-converting Optimus Prime can also walk, talk and battle Decepticons all via voice command!  These have begun to arrive for fans who pre-ordered months ago and mine just came in.  Check out some unboxing photos below showing the box contents.  I have also added a couple screen shots from the App you can use to control the figure (an alternative to using voice commands).  A review will come down the road but for now enjoy the pics!

Threezero has revealed pre-orders for their upcoming MDLX Optimus Prime figure open up on October 15. The post on their Facebook page notes orders will begin on on 15 Oct, 9am HKT (14 Oct, 9pm EDT) at https://www.threezerohk.com. It is likely other retailers will carry it as well, though Threezero did not specify any.

It may be incredible to think about but we are already nearing the end of 2021, and with it comes the Holiday season. In celebration of that season Super 7 has posted pre-orders for an unexpected figure: Optimus Prime Santa! This wacky figure is a redeco and retool of the previously released Optimus Prime figure from the ReAction line featuring Optimus wearing a Santa hat and featuring a green and red Christmas themed deco. You can pre-order this item using the links below (and help support BWTF as well!). The figure is due in December 2021.

Thanks to a new listing on Takara Tomy Mall we now have a better look at Titan Class Black Zarak. When this figure was first revealed it was clear the images were basically saturated Photoshops. This time out we have actual images of the figure itself (or at the very least a test shot). Here is the product description from Takara Tomy Mall:

Thanks to several sources including The "Transformers Perú" Facebook Page and the Twitter feed of Citranite fans now have several photos of the vehicles being used as the alt-modes of Transformers characters from the film.

The folks over at Tag Hobby we have our first look at a surprise release that is expected to be coming from Takara Tomy. This release features a redeco of the Kingdom Ultra Magnus' inner cab as Optimus Prime and an "anti-gravity base" display stand. So far none of my usual retailers have put this up for pre-order yet but once it's up I'll definitely post about it. For now, enjoy the images (mirrored from Tag Hobby).
