Toy News: "Masterpiece G" Yukikaze Announced with Pre-Orders

The third Masterpiece G figure has been announced!  Following the reveals of Shouki and Getsui, Takara Tomy and Hasbro have revealed the Yukikaze!  The Trainbot is priced at $144.99 and due for release in May 2023.  You can order via site sponsor BigBadToyStore or affiliate site Entertainment Earth and help support BWTF!  For now, check out the official product info, videos and images below:

Toy News: Hasbro Officially Unveils "Legacy" Cybertron Metroplex

Having leaked many months ago, Hasbro has now officially confirmed that the next Titan Class figure will be Cybertron Metroplex! No, this is not the G1 city, but rather this is the character of the same name from the Cybertron series who came from the world of Gigantion where he served as the foreman. The figure represents a significant price bump for the Titan Class, going up to $199.99 with a release date of November 1, 2022.

Toy News: Takara Tomy Posts In Box Photos of "Masterpiece" Shouki and more

Takara Tomy has posted new images of Masterpiece Shouki to its Transformers Twitter feed. These include a photo of the packaging for the figure suggesting it is packaged in vehicle mode (which makes sense given its more compact shape). We also get close ups of the figure showing its beautiful detailing and hinting at its complexity.

Toy News: Possible Images of "Masterpiece" Trainbot Shouki

Images have appeared online via several Facebook groups showing off what appears to be a Masterpiece version of Shouki - the leader of the Trainbots from the "Headmasters" cartoon series.  Along with his fellow Trainbots, he could form part of the Combiner, Raiden.  This group of G1 toys was only released in Japan and thus far the entire group has not yet been updated outside of a Million Publishing exclusive of Shouki as a Classics Astrotrain redeco.

HasLab: Victory Saber Officially Funded

For weeks now fans have watched the HasLab campaign for Victory Saber slowly go up after an initial strong start.  For those who were nervous the campaign would not fund, international orders have helped boost the numbers and as of this morning Victory Saber is funded!  At the time of this writing there are now over 11,600 backers and hopefully more will come so we can reach the stretch goals!  If you want to participate in this campaign, head over to HasLab now and throw your hat in the ring.  Let's say GO!
