Beast Wars Neo Bump Toy Review
Beast Mode: Armadillo
Exceedingly reserved of character, Bump is the type who pinches every credit he gets. Others think of him as gloomy, but he's happiest when curled up and retreated into his own world. He has strong, shell-like skin, and displays a lightning-fast draw-and-fire technique with the weapons at his hips.

Bump is one of the additions to Beast Wars Neo from the second wave of Neo toys. Like its predecessor, Beast Wars The Second, Beast Wars Neo uses molds from previous Beast Wars Transformers toy lines as part of its line up of characters. The Bump toy uses the mold from Armordillo, an older Beast Wars Transformers release. No significant mold changes were made to Armordillo's mold for the Bump toy and the quality of the toy is the same.
In beast mode, most of Bump's back, beast mode head and beast mode feet are dark red. His beast mode eyes are green. His upper beast mode forearms and tail are silver, while his claws on all four feet are metallic silver. A wonderfully executed silver spray op was added onto the toy in between the grooves on his back. This adds a very "dusty" look to the beast mode.
Transformation to Robot Mode:
Bump is one of the first generation of regular Beast Wars Transformers toys which transformed by use of the spring action transformation. Simply lift up Bump's tail and the beast mode head folds down to form the robot chest and the robot head emerges. Detach his hind beast mode feet and place them via the hole in pegs on either robot arm to form his weapons. Bump's transformation is as simple as that!
In robot mode, Bump's color scheme from his beast mode carries over. The robot eyes are green and the claws on his robot mode feet are metallic silver. Bump's weapon pieces (i.e. the gun barrel and chain/barb) are colored silver.
This toy has a very nice paint job, but is basically the same as Armordillo in quality. Please feel free to check out Armordillo's review for more of a look at this toy.
