Site News: Maintenance starting 5pm tonight!

Heads up fans, starting around 5pm EDT tonight BWTF will be going down for maintenance for the weekend. You'll likely see the site back up by tomorrow, but there will be a lot of tweaking going on to its look over the next few weeks so I appreciate everyone's patience! :)

Acclaimed actor Kelsey Grammar ("Cheers", "Frasier", "The Boss") has been cast as a villain in "Tranfsormers 4" - via Variety

Collectors be warned, the "Generations" Voyager Class triple changers are out! Also sighted are the Commander Class Optimus Prime and Bumblebee figures. Good luck hunting fellow fans!

"Transformers: The Ride" will be opening in Universal Studios, Florida on June 20th - via The Orlando Sentinel

Toy News: "Transformers Go!" images - Predacons and more!

Thanks to BWTF sponsor Image Anime I have new images from the "Beast Hunters" follow up in Japan known as "Transformers Go!".

The first image features the animated appearance of the six Autobots who will be hunting Predacons in the anime as well as photos of their combined forms.

The second image features toy images, including some redecos of upcoming Predacons! This might mean we'll get to see certain sculpts used in animation even if they don't appear in the "Beast Hunters" series.

Japanese toy shop E-Hobby has put up a video featuring their upcoming joint exclusive with the "Transformers Collector's Club": Magnificus! This is a redeco of the "Reveal the Shield" Perceptor figure featuring an alternate head sculpt based on the original figure Perceptor was based on from Japan, check out the video below!

Toy News: "Transformers Fan Built Bot" Poll - fans decide on a future character!

Taking a cue from past "Star Wars" initiatives, Hasbro has launched its "Transformers Thrilling 30" anniversary campaign with a poll where fans can vote on features of a character including affiliation, weaponry, color scheme and personality. The winning robot will eventually be created as a toy and introduced in the IDW comic books!

From the site text: "Once the votes have been tallied, come back to Transformers.com to see the designers at work. Sketches, images and more will be revealed as the new bot character comes to life."
